On Friday, City Hall sent 500 officers, engineers and site supervisors into 15 flood-hit districts to survey damaged homes, speed up relief and fix broken roads and pavements within a month. About 300mm of rain fell in three days, and some low-lying parts of Nong Chok are still under water.
